Hello All,
My name is Bruce Smith Jr., Yes, I am a die hard Buffalo Bills football fanatic. I am a retired United States Marine of 22 years. I have been swimming since I can remember. I was once a diver/swimmer and football player for Stone Mountain High School in Dekalb County. I dove and swam at the county and state levels. Due to a devastating football injury my senior year, my diving career was ended. While in the United States Marine Corps I was deployed to Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan multiple times. During my time in the service, I became a Marine Corps Instructor of Water Survival and attended the Marine Corps Combatant Diver course. So, I pretty much stayed in the water. LOL. I have 2 daughters Mya and Jenna. I have coached summer league dive for the past 8 years. I am also the Head Diving Coach at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School. I am hoping to build a competitive team, but we will also have loads of fun. I’m looking forward to teaching your Sharks and future Sharks while also learning from them. Semper Fi Coach Bruce 🦈
